Cowichan Valley Film Society -- VIU Films
The Cowichan Valley Film Society is excited to bring the Travelling World Community Film Festival back to VIU November 3-5. The Festival selection this year includes 17 documentaries from around the world, with a focus on environmental, social justice and human rights issues. These films will educate, entertain and inspire.
The Festival takes place at the beautiful VIU Cowichan Campus with all films screening in just one room this year - the state of the art lecture theatre, room 140:
Friday from 5:15 to 9:00PM
Saturday from 1:15 to 9:00PM
Sunday from 12:15 to 8:00PM
The concession will have homemade local-ingredient savoury and sweet offerings as well as coffee and tea. Film-goers are welcome to take food and drink into the theatre. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle and to use the re-filling stations.
Tickets for Friday evening only are $10 or full Festival passes are $20. Tickets are available here and at the door throughout the Festival.
